What we store, and why

Rent split stores as little as it can. There are no ads, no analytics cookies and no trackers. The only cookie is the session cookie that keeps you signed in.
What is stored, where, and for how long

Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts the site, the database and the logs.
- Mailysend sends sign-in codes and, if you turn them on, the monthly reminder emails.
- Bachs takes Pro payments. We never see or store your card.
- Google or GitHub, only if you choose to sign in with them. We receive your verified email address and nothing else.
Your rights
You can see, change and delete your data on the account page. Deleting your account removes your email, your flats and your sessions within 30 days, backups included. Payment records stay for the 6 years that tax law requires. To ask for a copy of your data, write to hello@divineweb.co.
Names of flatmates
If you save a flat, you store the names of your flatmates. Use first names or initials if they prefer, and tell them that the split is saved.
